Talk about a wolf in wolf's clothing! We restored this Polar White Poncho to perfection, cut the bottom out of it, and dropped it onto a brand new Corvette chassis. A full custom interior blends the best of the Corvette with the looks of the original T/A; every piece of the stock Corvette running gear works as new. Several subtle body modifications were required, but you almost need to see a stock car to see them all!

A Goodguys Pro's Pick from Flowmaster in its first show out INSIDIOUS showcases the best of our subtle custom work from the chassis to the paint. The body was completely smoothed and flush fit, correcting a number of proportion and overhang issues with Dodge's original design. Highlights include a custom-designed grille and tail panel, flush-fit glass with modern smoothed weather seals, a functional ram air hood feeding a Hillborn-injected 426 Hemi, five speed overdrive and more.

We designed and built our own fully independent suspension, added Wilwood brakes behind 19” Bonspeed wheels, and dropped it in the weeds. The interior is custom designed from the English leather upholstery to the Wilton wool carpet and from the high end audio-video system to the one-off Classic Instruments gauges which run backwards to mimic aircraft pieces. The body is two-tone, but you need the right light to catch the olive pearl in the flanks—the list of modifications just goes on and on! |
1968 Dodge Charger R/Te - The World’s first E-body Charger

Arguably the wildest custom Charger ever built, we first cut this car to pieces, shortened the body more than 20 inches, chopped the roof two and a half inches and raked the windshield back three inches. We then pretty much custom fabricated the entire car from scratch! The polarizing result was the lines of a B-Body Charger with the short deck/long hood proportions of Dodge's E-Body Challenge.

The completely smoothed body received a custom grille and tail panel, shaved vent window frames, LED lighting and more. A Hillborn-injected 472 cid Hemi putting down more than 650 HP mated to a five speed manual transmission, transferring power back to an in-house fabricated independent suspension with inboard disc brakes. 20” wheels & tires give the car a modern stance. The interior is custom designed using Autometer gauges, English leather, wool carpet and a high end audio-video system. We proved the car was more than just a concept, too, by running the full length of the Hot Rod Power Tour in 2007! |
