1968 Dodge Charger R/Te - The World’s first E-body Charger

Arguably the wildest custom Charger ever built, we first cut this car to pieces, shortened the body more than 20 inches, chopped the roof two and a half inches and raked the windshield back three inches. We then pretty much custom fabricated the entire car from scratch! The polarizing result was the lines of a B-Body Charger with the short deck/long hood proportions of Dodge's E-Body Challenge.

The completely smoothed body received a custom grille and tail panel, shaved vent window frames, LED lighting and more. A Hillborn-injected 472 cid Hemi putting down more than 650 HP mated to a five speed manual transmission, transferring power back to an in-house fabricated independent suspension with inboard disc brakes. 20” wheels & tires give the car a modern stance. The interior is custom designed using Autometer gauges, English leather, wool carpet and a high end audio-video system. We proved the car was more than just a concept, too, by running the full length of the Hot Rod Power Tour in 2007!
